WHAT ELSE DO YOU DO? Photography, ink and Photoshop. This piece was designed for the D&AD open brief entitled ‘What else do you do?’ My interpretation looked at the idea of secret identities.

Anything the creative mind can conceive

The characters used in these two images and also my logo (see title) were initially designed for an entry to the D&AD student awards (bottom image). The idea was to promote HP computers as able to bring to life anything the creative mind could conceive. The unique and unusual animals, which I first collaged then drew from, reflect this ability to visualise creative possibilities. I then used the characters in a flyer design for a university fundraiser (top image).

Kleenex brief

This piece was designed for the YCN ‘Kleenex’ competition brief. The brief called for an interesting, modern design for a standard Kleenex tissue box.

People Confuse me

This piece was an illustration for a book called ‘The curious incident of the dog in the night time.’ In the book the main character is a 10 year old autistic boy who thrives on learning and facts but finds people and emotions difficult to understand. The illustration tries to encompass these themes with an explosion of information coming out of his head to reflect his confusion and constant analysis of the world around him.
